Last week I had the pleasure of speaking at the Israeli Dealmakers Summit in Silicon Valley. With over a thousand of the world’s top corporations, investors and entrepreneurs, it’s known as the largest and most prestigious Israel-focused business event. While it was exciting to participate, the real privilege was to be able to help showcase the innovative ideas and technology coming out of Israel.
Award candidates were evaluated on value proposition, internationalization strategy, potential impact in the industry, as well as their elevator pitch performance made in front of 200 investors, corporations and industry experts.
One of Morphisec’s mandates is to share our expertise with the industry at large. You’ll find bylines and commentary by team members in numerous publications on everything from the cyber security implications of Brexit to improving supply chain cyber security. Following are a few of the latest articles by Morphisec experts.
Next week begins Black Hat USA 2016, held July 30 – August 4 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. In its 19th year, the iconic cyber security conference still retains an air of mystique despite its acquired patina of glitz and business. Black Hat begins with four days of intensive hacker training, delving in-depth into the tools and techniques the bad guys are using. The ability to think like a hacker is of enormous importance in developing better cyber defenses – what better place to practice it than Sin City?
Here is a treat for our Polish speaking readers!
In yesterday’s interview with Poranek WTK, Dawid Nogaj, CEO of PC Service and authorized Morphisec distributor in Poland, explains why signature-based endpoint security solutions are on their way out. After his participation at Morphisec’s first Distributor Summit at the beginning of March, Dawid is more convinced than ever that Moving Target Defense is the ultimate answer to advanced threats.
Of course we know that Morphisec is a cool company, with a terrific team of people, working on the coolest security product. Well now our coolness is official: Gartner, the leading tech analyst group, selected Morphisec as a Cool Vendor for 2016.
Your Vote Counts!
Amidst the pageantry and spectacle of the US primaries, there’s a quieter vote going on, one that takes only a few seconds from you. We’re talking about Startup50 2016. Finalists make it into Jeff Vance’s Big50 Startup Report, which features “in-depth coverage of the 50 coolest tech startups founded in the last five years.” Morphisec has been nominated in the Cybersecurity and Storage category. We already made it through Round 1 (go Morphisec!) and Round 2 for this category is open for voting now.
We’re so pleased to announce our nomination for “Most Innovative Cybersecurity Company” in the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. Seems like folks are just as excited as we are about our Moving Target Defense.
For the past two years Morphisec has been part of the JVP Cyber Labs incubator. However, as our official launch draws closer, we’re rapidly transitioning to a new and exciting stage—and moving to new office space.
