SANS 2022 Cyber Threat Intelligence Summit Solutions Track

The SANS 2022 Cyber Threat Intelligence Summit Solutions Track is part of the SANS Institute Cyber Threat Intelligence Summit and Training series. It’s designed to give industry practitioners and security leaders an up-to-the-minute perspective on the latest challenges and opportunities experienced by cybersecurity professionals today. The summit takes place entirely online, and attendance is free.
The Official Cyber Security Summit Series

When: Multiple, January to December
Format: In-person and virtual
With over two dozen events happening across the United States, the Official Cyber Security Summit Series features a broad spectrum of events for different industries and regions. Each summit is designed to connect senior-level executives with innovative solution providers and renowned information security experts.
All events in the series have a virtual option, and attendance is by invitation only. To ensure high peer-to-peer interaction occurs, each attendee is pre-approved and screened. Admission costs start at $95 per event day.
FS-ISEC - 2022 Americas Spring Summit
Where: Orlando, Florida, USA.
When: March 27—March 30, 2022

Financial services businesses face a wide range of emerging cyber risks. To help security practitioners and financial executives understand them, the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) brings together security industry leaders from some of the world's leading financial organizations for an in-person event in Orlando, Florida.
Healthcare Innovation Summit Series
Where: Various, USA/Online
When: Multiple, April to November
Format: In-person
These eight, regionally distributed events focus on helping healthcare executives explore the latest trends and challenges in healthcare innovation. Each event features a cybersecurity track session on day one dedicated to healthcare cybersecurity.
Attendees to Summit Series Events tend to be in leadership roles within healthcare organizations and health tech companies. It’s $595 for event guests to attend, while vendors are charged $2,095.
SecureWorld Event Series
Where: Various, USA
When: Multiple, April to December
Format: In-person and virtual
The SecureWorld Event series allows attendees to earn CPE credits while engaging in educational elements alongside security thought leaders. Events are regionally distributed across the United States.
Some events are in-person only, while others are virtual. A standard conference pass for in-person events costs $200, but other ticket types are available. Virtual events are free to attend.
Infosecurity Europe
Where: London, UK
When: June 21—June 23, 2022
Format: In-person
One of the largest European cybersecurity gatherings, Infosecurity Europe enables European practitioners and security executives to get ahead of industry-defining trends. The conference attracts hundreds of vendors, several thousand attendees, and a collection of the most influential people in European and international security annually.
Attendees at Infosecurity Europe can listen to over two dozen speakers. Talks span topics from technical advice to enlightening experiences with hackers in North Korea. As well as a large variety of networking events and workshops, the conference's technology showcase gives attendees a snapshot of tech that will shape the future of security.
Black Hat Las Vegas
Where: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
When: August 6—August 11, 2022
Format: In-person and virtual
Started in 1997, Black Hat conferences are internationally important events for people interested in, or responsible for cybersecurity. Black Hat Las Vegas starts with four days of training for security professionals on both defensive and offensive aspects of security. The conference itself takes place afterward and features two days of talks, workshops, and networking events.
There are multiple ticket options available, but the regular registration pass, which gives attendees access to the in-person conference, costs between $2,295 and $2,895, depending on the booking date. Training sessions need to be booked individually and are not included in the ticket price.
DEFCON 30
Where: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
When: August 11—August 14, 2022
Format: In-person and virtual
Started in 1993 as a farewell party for a hacking network member, DEFCON 30 is an annual highlight for hacking enthusiasts from both sides of the fence. This includes members of government agencies like the FBI and NSA, security practitioners, and individuals with less legal experience.
The conference famously features an eclectic variety of contests. These range from real-world lockpicking to red-versus-blue events where teams of hackers defend and attack a simulated network. Training events also take place in the run-up to the conference and can be booked individually. The cost of attending DEFCON 30 in-person is $360, with different rates available for hybrid attendance.
InfoSec World
Where: Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA
When: September 26—September 28, 2022
Format: In-person
Describing itself as the "Business of Security" conference, InfoSec World aims to give executives and security practitioners a snapshot of how the security world is changing. The conference schedule includes a range of focused workshops covering security technologies like XDR, and summits around broad issues such as cloud security and leadership.
Attendees typically come from various experience levels, backgrounds, and industries. Multiple tickets are available, including discounts for government employees, but the standard main conference fee is $1,895. InfoSec World does not have a virtual attendance option.
SANS Cyber Solutions Fest
Where: Online, Global
When: October 13—October 14, 2022
Format: Virtual
Four tracks—ransomware, cloud security, SOC $ SOAR, and Threat Hunting & Intelligence—give attendees a close look at the hottest security technologies on the market today.
By connecting vendors and industry thought leaders with practitioners and security decision-makers, this event can help organizations plan their security investments. It’s free for attendees and takes place entirely online.
Cybertech Global Tel Aviv
Where: Tel Aviv, Israel
When: January 30—February 1, 2023
Format: In-person
Occurring in the world's most vibrant tech ecosystems, Cybertech Global enables attendees to network with their cybersecurity peers from across the globe. It hosts a range of speakers from across the technology world as well as journalists and political leaders.
Over 200 technology companies are represented at this cyber tech exhibition, and attendees can meet some of the world's more innovative start-ups. A full conference pass costs between $650 and $1,000, depending on the booking date. Different pricing and pass options are available.
HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition
Where: Chicago, Illinois, USA
When: April 17—April 21, 2023
Format: In-person
The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Global Health Conference & Exhibition describes itself as "the most influential healthcare event of the year.” It attracts over 30,000 individuals working across various roles in healthcare, including government employees, CIOs, senior executives, and security practitioners.
There are plenty of networking and continuing education opportunities. And attendees can explore pavilions themed around topics like "Healthcare of the future" and a "Cybersecurity Command Center."
RSA Conference

Over 45,000 people attend RSA. The conference is arguably the most significant security event to take place each year.
