Morphisec Rapidly Expands to More Than Four Million Endpoints Globally

Company doubles its install base in eight months on the strength of Microsoft Defender Antivirus Integration, Growing Partner Ecosystem, and strong APAC demand

BE’ER SHEVA, ISRAEL and BOSTON, MA – August 21, 2019 – Morphisec, the leader in Moving Target Defense, today announced that it doubled the global install base of its Unified Threat Prevention platform in just over eight months to surpass four million endpoints. The achievement is further evidence of Morphisec becoming the ideal companion to Microsoft’s built-in Defender Antivirus (AV) with its recently announced Defender AV integration, and the pair jointly displacing traditional antivirus vendors as enterprises migrate to Windows 10.

“Our rapid growth continues to be driven by enterprises moving to a prevention-first model against advanced attacks as the limitations of EDR solutions — both in their protection effectiveness and operational burden — become ever more apparent,” said Ronen Yehoshua, Morphisec’s chief executive officer. “As they migrate to Windows 10, organizations of all sizes are divesting themselves of legacy antivirus tools and reallocating budgets to advanced threat protection from Morphisec to protect their endpoints, servers and cloud workloads.”

More than 200 million enterprise workers now use Windows 10 on endpoints including laptops, desktops, and servers. That is expected to increase sharply when Microsoft ends support for Windows 7 in January of 2020. Enterprises bringing their employees into Windows 10 environments are looking to Morphisec to take a more deterministic approach to prevent fileless, zero-day, and evasive malware attacks that have been engineered to bypass their other security tools. At the same time, organizations are also turning to Morphisec to protect their Azure and AWS cloud workloads as they transfer more of their ongoing operations into the cloud.

Morphisec’s rapidly developing partner ecosystem is also accelerating its growth. The company has entered into large-scale expansion programs with Microsoft via the MISA program, it was recently named an official McAfee partner, and it joined the Ivanti One partner program earlier this year. In addition, it has established a series of sales and technical alliances with VMware, Demisto, Amazon and IBM. Furthermore, Morphisec has significantly strengthened its presence across APAC, with the region accounting for nearly 35% of the company’s organic business since the beginning of the year.
