PwC Names Morphisec a Top Ten Finalist for Most Promising Company Award
BE’ER SHEVA, Israel, October13, 2016 – Morphisec, the leading provider of Moving Target Defense (MTD) endpoint threat prevention solutions, today announces it has been recognized by PwC as a top ten finalist for the Most Promising Company Award with the winner to be decided by a pitching contest at PwC Cyber Security Day 2016.
“Morphisec is excited to be considered a top ten upcoming security product by PwC,” said Ronen Yehoshua, Morphisec CEO. “We released our enterprise-ready endpoint threat prevention solution earlier this year to critical acclaim and have seen pivotal growth with our recent global office expansion and new business efforts. Morphisec looks forward to showcasing this development in the pitching contest later this month.”
The finalists, chosen by a selection committee of independent jurors, represent the top ten new solutions with global potential in cybersecurity. Companies selected have a disruptive and innovative solution that shows a true market need, is proven on local markets, is gaining traction and has acquired reputable international clients.
“Morphisec’s selection is recognition that, in today’s rapidly evolving cyber threat landscape, endpoint security against advanced attacks is no longer optional,” said Yehoshua. “Hackers now regularly use polymorphism, obfuscation and other evasive techniques to hide from traditional security solutions. These new weapons need new defense approaches. We welcome this opportunity to increase awareness about what kind of new cybersecurity stack organizations should build to get the maximum protection for the minimum operational expense.“
PwC Cyber Security Day, to be held in Luxembourg on Oct. 18, 2016, features strategic market and tech trends and outlines the main emerging threats of today. For the pitching competition, a jury of experts representing the market and the industry will evaluate each finalist based on its value proposition, internationalization strategy, potential impact in the industry as well as the elevator pitch performance. The audience will also vote for the most captivating solution through the People’s Choice Award. The winners of both awards will receive a customized two-day business acceleration workshop with PwC’s Accelerator program and present their solution at the Hack.lu conference.
PwC Cyber Security Day is part of PricewaterhouseCoopers’s innovative Global Accelerator program, a framework designed and tested to find high-potential companies and help them go global faster and smarter.
About Morphisec:
Emerging from Israel’s national cybersecurity center, Morphisec makes endpoint threat prevention viable again. Morphisec terminates the kill chain at its very onset, stopping and neutralizing zero-days and advanced attacks at the moment of infiltration before damage can occur. Morphisec’s Moving Target Defense technology morphs the runtime environment, randomly and without any trace, concealing unpatched endpoint vulnerabilities and trapping all attempts at access. Attackers never find the targets they seek. Ever.
